Bunny, blanket...and baby

Julia is all about her comforts, especially when she wakes up from her nap.  Today, sucking her thumb and sitting in her favorite spot on the couch ("MY spot," she informs us all!), she wanted bunny, blanket, and her baby sister!  Erica was happy to comply!

We had a fun time celebrating 95 years with Grandpa/Great-Grandpa.  After a dinner at Olive Garden we headed back to our house for a Sports theme birthday party...decorations, party hats and all!!

Uncle Will

It's always great to have visitors...especially when they are old friends. Shane's good childhood friend stayed with us for a week in February and it was a ton of fun. Come visit us again soon Uncle Will!

Happy Valentine's Day!

We celebrated Valentine's Day with Grandma and Grandpa. I made a yummy cheese fondue with fresh bread and steamed veggies for an appetizer. Dinner was deliciouso heart shaped pizza from Lou Malnati's...and dessert was a yummy chocolate-carmel fondue !!! We decided it was good enough to start a tradition!!

The Creek!!!

One of the most exciting days as a kid was when the snow began to melt and the creek began to flow at the bottom of the hill behind our house. With all the construction in the cow pasture and the winters without huge snowfalls, the creek became less frequent. However, in the beginning of February we happened to spend the night at Grandma's & Grandpa's. Kylia and Julia got to experience the creek for the first time.


















Mom was happy to see the vines that Malissa and I used to play on when we were little were still there!!

YMCA

Winter blues relief! We used Christmas money and joined the YMCA! Mom loves the time to workout (thanks to the Kiddie Korner) and the girls love Friday swim days at the indoor waterpark!
